Service status: Rwanda border, tax and data services

This directory lists services for travellers and traders in Rwanda, the channel to use, official fees or time limits where a source states them, and the latest status found with its date. On 24 October 2026 the main Rwanda Revenue Authority website showed an upgrade notice and listed the services that stayed available ¹. Border crossings with DR Congo were closed in May 2026 over Ebola ^9,10.

Notes

Status shows the latest dated source found. A border reopening after May 2026 could not be confirmed from a source meeting the site's rules ^9,10.
A Ministry of Health notice of 22 May 2026 denied entry to foreign nationals who had been in DR Congo in the previous 30 days and required quarantine for returning residents who had been there ¹². A Ministry of Health update of 16 June 2026 reported no cases in Rwanda and does not mention a border reopening ¹³.
The Grande Barriere hours were set on the DR Congo side, as reported by Africanews ¹¹.
